Imperial Animal Hospital Pet Lodge and Grooming is a well-established pet care facility that offers a home away from home for pets of all shapes and sizes. We provide premium lodging, grooming, and daycare services in a comfortable and secure environment. We are currently seeking a Lead Receptionist to join our team, someone who is passionate about animals, has excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and is ready to be the face of our pet-friendly haven.
As the Lead Receptionist at Imperial Animal Hospital Pet Lodge and Grooming, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. You'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by coordinating check-ins, check-outs, and grooming appointments. Your friendly and professional demeanor will set the tone for our customer's experiences, and your organizational skills will be key to keeping everything running smoothly.
- Welcome and assist clients, both in person and over the phone, answering their inquiries and providing information about our services.
- Schedule lodging reservations, grooming appointments, and daycare activities.
- Coordinate with the pet care team to ensure pets receive the best care and that any special requests are accommodated.
- Manage client paperwork, including pet health records and billing information.
- Handle customer feedback and address any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist with the grooming department by scheduling appointments and ensuring a seamless grooming experience for pets and owners.
- Help maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Qualifications:
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with using computer systems and software.
- Empathetic and patient when dealing with both clients and pets.
- Knowledge of pet health and grooming is a plus.
